As vice president and treasurer for Enterprise Community Investment, Inc., Jeffrey Galentine is responsible for cash management, borrowing and investments for Enterprise, its funds and subsidiaries. He develops and maintains the company’s investment policy and risk guidelines, negotiates bridge loans and lines of credit, and coordinates cash availability for the organization.
Prior to joining Enterprise in 1998, Jeffrey held positions of increasing responsibility over a 10-year period with the United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company (USF&G) in Baltimore, Md. He started with USF&G as an accountant, became a senior financial analyst and also served as a local area network administrator for the company. As manager of USF&G’s Treasury-Capital Management department, he directed the development, analysis and implementation of the organization’s capital strategy, evaluated acquisitions and mergers, and assessed the impact of strategic initiatives. Jeffrey was named assistant vice president of USF&G in 1997.
Jeffrey earned a master’s degree in business from the Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in information systems management with a certificate of accounting from the University of Maryland. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
