Enterprise Homes and Bozzuto Construction Celebrate Topping Out of Renaissance Square in Essex-Middle River

81 apartments for seniors and 115 for-sale homes to be built in Baltimore County

WHAT:Topping Out of the Evergreen Senior Living Community at Renaissance Square

WHEN: Friday, July 10, 2009 at 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: 1600 Evergreen Way, located near Old Eastern Avenue and Back River Neck Rd. and east of St. Stephens AME Church

BACKGROUND: Located at the site of the former Kingsley Park Apartments, the new Renaissance Square community began construction in March, starting with an 81-unit senior apartment building to be called Evergreen. When completed, the 17-acre Renaissance Square site will showcase the Essex-Middle River community’s vision of a mixed-income neighborhood for seniors and families. The newly developed community will feature green, sustainable living, including 115 for-sale homes along with the Evergreen senior building. One of four developments currently under construction or rehabilitation by Enterprise Homes, Inc., Renaissance Square is valued at $43 million in total development costs, which includes financing from Susquehanna Bank, the State of Maryland, Baltimore County, Enterprise Green Communities®, and a tax credit equity investment through Enterprise Community Investment, Inc. Bozzuto Construction Corporation is the builder for the senior building.
