As senior vice president of capital markets, Douglas Able is responsible for locating and securing investment capital for various initiatives, including investment in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and New Market Tax Credits. He also oversees the Company’s relationships with existing investors, as well as builds relationships with new investors. Mr. Able brings nearly 15 years of corporate finance and investment management expertise to his role at Enterprise.
Prior to joining Enterprise, Mr. Able was a vice president at M&T Bank where he was responsible for building new commercial banking relationships, comprehensive financial analysis of new and existing clients, and ongoing client management. His career includes positions in investment banking with DB Alex Brown, and private equity investing with Duke Management Company where he managed 25 percent of Duke University’s $4 billion endowment. In addition, from 2004 to early 2006 Mr. Able managed development, marketing, and public relations for Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School.
Mr. Able earned his bachelor’s of science degree from Boston College and a master’s of business administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a member of several local boards including the Windsor Hills Neighbors Association, Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School and is co-founder of the Craig Cromwell Scholarship Fund which provides full scholarships to African American students at Calvert Hall College High School. |
