As senior vice president for Enterprise Community Investment, Inc. (Enterprise), Mr. Cummings oversees the development and implementation of syndication's strategic plan, which balances production growth with Enterprise's mission-driven business philosophy. He manages staff resources and marketing outreach to development partners to achieve company production targets.
From 2003-2005, Mr. Cummings served as the vice president for West Coast Operations, where he managed Enterprise's efforts to place low-income housing tax credit equity in the western United States. In this role, he oversaw an investment portfolio of more than $1 billion and guided staff in five cities: Denver, Portland, Ore., San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle.
Before joining Enterprise's Portland office as an underwriter in 1996, Mr. Cummings was a development officer with the Vermont Housing Finance Agency, where he structured the financing for the development and preservation of affordable rental housing.
He holds a master's degree in city planning from the University of California, Berkeley and is a graduate of the University of California, Davis.
