As vice president for Enterprise Community Investment, Inc. (Enterprise), Mr. Goodrich manages the acquisitions activity for the Northeast region, which includes nine states and accounts for 20-25 percent of Enterprise’s business nationally. He leads a team of Enterprise staff to oversee investment transactions that qualify for the low-income housing tax credit. Prior to being named vice president, Mr. Goodrich held positions as managing director and fund manager for the Northeast region.
Before joining Enterprise in 1998, Mr. Goodrich was with the Redevelopment Authority of Philadelphia where he coordinated all aspects of property acquisitions as well as planning and development for residential, commercial and industrial properties. Prior to that, he served as the executive director for a community group in East St. Louis, Winstanley/Industry Park Neighborhood Organization (WIPNO), and was responsible for operations, fundraising, and long-range planning. Under his leadership, the group helped develop a community stabilization strategy and organized a successful resident action campaign to plan and develop a neighborhood playground. WIPNO also developed the East St. Louis Farmers’ Market to sell produce and general merchandise in the city’s main commercial corridor.
Mr. Goodrich received his bachelor’s in consumer economics and housing from Cornell University and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also received his juris doctorate from Fordham University. |
