As president and chief executive officer of Enterprise Homes, Inc. (Enterprise), Ms. Grayson has more than 25 years’ experience in the development of housing for people from all walks of life.
Since 1987, when she began her career with Enterprise, Ms. Grayson has established a reputation for building high-quality, mixed-income communities and providing workforce homeownership opportunities. Enterprise has a very successful track record for large scale master planning, undertaking and completing complicated mixed-income housing developments in both suburban and urban areas in the mid-Atlantic region.
Enterprise has developed over 4,200 for-sale and rental units. Enterprise has extensive experience in layered financing to achieve its goals by working with private institutions and federal, state and local officials. Enterprise prides itself on its ability to form productive partnerships with nonprofit partners, neighborhood organizations and government entities.
In May 2007 Ms. Grayson received the HOPE Leadership award, honoring her commitment and dedication to providing homeownership opportunities for minorities. Under Ms. Grayson’s leadership, Enterprise developments have received numerous awards. Recently, Enterprise received the 2005 Best in American Living Award, the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development 2005 Commitment to Excellence Award and the 2005 HAND Award for the Best Development of the Year in the District of Columbia.
Ms. Grayson is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where she earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in urban affairs. She currently serves on the board of Parks and People Foundation and the Home Builders Association of Maryland.
