As vice president of Finance for Enterprise Community Investment, Inc. (Enterprise), Ms. Hebner is responsible for the financial and tax reporting to Enterprise's corporate partners. This comprises investment activity for more than 90 national and regional low-income housing tax credit equity funds. Ms. Hebner is also responsible for overseeing the accounting functions for Enterprise's Asset Management division.
Ms. Hebner joined Enterprise in February in 2005 as controller for Asset Management and Syndication. She was promoted to director of Finance in late 2005. Ms. Hebner teamed with the senior management of both Syndication and Asset Management to foster the proactive integration of business objectives with those of the Finance department. This has resulted in improved reporting and enhanced measurement of results. She also served as a consultant for business and accounting issues to the controllers of Enterprise's other product lines.
Ms. Hebner has over 20 years of experience in real estate accounting and finance. Prior to joining Enterprise, she spent five years with The Rouse Company, where her responsibilities included accounting for development construction and capital maintenance for the retail and office portfolio, in addition to corporate internal cost allocations. Prior to that, Ms Hebner worked for six years in the finance division of a national healthcare company, responsible for acquisitions integration, financial accounting and reporting, billing and collections. Ms. Hebner also worked for two years with a publicly traded real estate investment trust, and served five years with the public accounting firm KPMG.
Ms. Hebner received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Loyola College, cum laude, and is a certified public accountant. Ms. Hebner serves as the chairman of the board of a public charity, the Mia Sutphin Foundation. |
