As director of multifamily mortgage finance for Enterprise Community Investment, Inc. (Enterprise),
Mr. Leathers is responsible for the origination of Enterprise’s FHA and Fannie Mae debt business
on the west coast. Mr. Leathers has extensive experience in all types of agency debt products, with particular emphasis on the FHA Multifamily and Healthcare insurance programs.
Mr. Leathers brings 27 years of experience in mortgage finance to his role with Enterprise, including
extensive knowledge of the affordable and multifamily housing markets in California, Arizona, Nevada,
Oregon and Washington. In addition, his breadth of experience encompasses tax-exempt bond transactions,
low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) acquisitions and asset management.
Prior to joining Enterprise in December 2007, Mr. Leathers facilitated loans for Section 202 properties and LIHTC projects as vice president of originations at Red Capital. Prior to that, he served as vice president of originations at PNC Bank for five years, and at Bank of America for ten years. Early in his career, he was deputy director of Mission Housing Development Corporation, a large San Francisco-based community development corporation, where he developed five major multifamily projects for
their portfolio.
Mr. Leathers has a bachelor’s degree in finance from San Diego State University and a J.D. from Golden Gate University, School of Law, in San Francisco. |
