As director of housing initiatives for Enterprise Homes, Inc. (Enterprise), Mr. Wilson brings over 25 years experience in housing and community development. During his 10-year career at Enterprise, Mr. Wilson has managed the development of Heritage Crossing, a 260-unit, $60 million, mixed-income, HOPE VI community in Baltimore, Maryland. He has coordinated the planning, financing and development of 238 units of senior housing in the Baltimore area financed with over $24.8 million obtained through the syndication of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, State, City and private lender funds.
Prior to joining Enterprise, Mr. Wilson was a Development Officer at Shorebank Development Corporation in Chicago where he managed the acquisition, financing and development of a
$5.9 million, 62-unit family rental development. Mr. Wilson also served as Director of Philadelphia Neighborhood
Enterprise, obtaining federal Nehemiah financing for the 176-unit, for-sale community of West Poplar.
Mr. Wilson’s public sector experience includes serving as Director of Land Resources for Baltimore’s Department of Housing & Community Development where he was responsible for the acquisition and disposition of city-owned properties. As Assistant UDAG Coordinator, he structured gap financing
for over 200 units of for-sale and rental housing garnering $7.5 million in federal funds which leveraged over $35 million in private financing.
Mr. Wilson holds a B.A degree in sociology from Loyola University of Chicago, a master’s degree in community planning from the University of Maryland and a master of science in real estate development
from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
