Lamar Seats is senior vice president for Enterprise Community Investment’s Diversified Financial Products Group. He specializes in creating and expanding multifamily and commercial permanent debt programs and enhancing and expanding Enterprise’s Multifamily Mortgage Finance product offerings. Lamar brings 20 years of experience in real estate finance to his position. He focuses on new product development to complement Enterprise’s existing debt products, and expansion of the loan origination network throughout the organization.
Before joining Enterprise, Lamar was senior vice president at Reilly Mortgage Group, where he managed national direct loan production averaging $1 billion annually through a network of eight regional offices and 17 loan originators. From 2000 to 2003, Lamar was director, Real Estate Merchant Banking Group for Wells Fargo Bank. In that capacity, he opened the company’s office to serve the mid-Atlantic and southeastern United States, originating and structuring real estate investments and providing loans and mezzanine debt products. Prior to that, he held real estate lending positions with Deutsche Bank Alex Brown, and USF&G Corporation in Baltimore. Early in his career, Lamar originated syndicated real estate debt facilities for Chemical Bank and was an associate in the Real Estate Finance Group at Bankers Trust Company in New York.
Lamar earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and a master’s in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
