Enterprise Named Partner of the Year
September 18, 2007 - Enterprise is proud to receive the 2007 Partner of the Year award from the Association of Oregon Community Development Organizations (AOCDO). The award was announced at AOCDO's 15th anniversary celebration at the Governor Hotel in Portland.
“Enterprise plays a pivotal role in community development in Oregon, investing $225 million over the past decade,” said Sophia McDonald, AOCDO’s executive director. “The Portland office is a leader among Enterprise offices across the nation, providing support for organizations and projects and making the difference between ‘no-go’ and ‘go.’ ”
McDonald also praised Enterprise for its delivery of technical assistance, policy advocacy and providing leadership at the state and local levels. “They bring new ideas and continuing inspiration to our work, along with the financial investment,” she said.
