Trenton Prospect House Trenton, N.J. As part of Trenton, N.J.’s revitalization efforts, the Community Preservation Corporation opened Trenton Prospect House for people 55 and over. The new, 97,000-square-foot housing development will be constructed on a two-acre lot, which is the former site of a demolished warehouse |

David & Joyce Dinkins Gardens New York, New York Home for families earning less than 60 percent of the Area Median Income and youth aging out of foster care. Dinkins Gardens consists of 28 studio, 24 one-bedroom and 33 two-bedroom apartments. It also includes a 2,500-square-foot community facility to house Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement’s Construction Trades Academy, a program that provides local residents with skills in the construction trades and building maintenance industries. |

Diversity Houses New York, New York Diversity Houses is aptly named to reflect the fabric of its community, a historic neighborhood on the lower east side of Manhattan, where immigrant families settled in the 19th and 20th centuries and where many European, Asian, Italian and Latin American New Yorkers can still trace their roots. |

Intervale Green Bronx, New York City Thirty years after President Carter’s famous visit to the Bronx – which looked like a bombed-out war zone at the time – the intersection of Intervale Avenue and Louis Nine Boulevard has become a haven for low-income and formerly homeless families. |

HANAC Astoria Senior Housing at the George T. Douris Tower Queens, New York A new, mixed-use community with affordable housing for seniors and commercial space for the services that support them. The completed development includes 183 one-bedroom apartments for seniors earning up to 60 percent of the area median income, a senior center and a health care facility. |
New Mexico

Azotea Senior Apartments Alamogordo, N.M. Azotea Senior Apartments is the new construction of a 60-unit development in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The development features 14 one- and two- story buildings containing 24 one bedroom and 36 two-bedroom apartments. |

Chuska Apartments Gallup, N.M. A 30-unit, new construction property with six residential buildings and a community center. The buildings are organized in clusters around a communal space and are divided into two elongated courtyards. The project features energy-efficient design with a one-story floor plan and built-in ventilation. |
Ohio

Tremont Pointe Cleveland Tremont Pointe is a mixed-income green HOPE VI redevelopment project on the site of a former public housing complex. It features 190 units plus 3,000 square feet of community space. |
Oregon
|

Clara Vista Portland, Ore. Clara Vista Townhomes is the new construction of 44 units of family housing in Portland, Oregon. The townhomes will provide 34 three bedroom and 10 four bedroom units in seven two and three-story buildings located on two separate parcels |

Lincoln Woods Portland, Ore. Lincoln Woods, winner of an Award of Excellence from the State of Oregon in April, 2007, includes four buildings encircling a central courtyard with a sheltered playground and comfortable community space. It consists of 18 one-bedroom apartments, eight two-bedrooms, 29 three-bedrooms, 13 four-bedrooms and two five-bedrooms. |

Living on Track Medford, Ore. Living on Track is a two-site development providing 63 units of supportive housing. The project provides 18 one-bedroom, 41 two-bedroom, and 4 three-bedroom units on two parcels of land. The project will address the needs of developmentally-disabled adults in recovery from drug and alcohol issues, chronically ill citizens, homeless individuals and victims of domestic violence |

Oleson Woods Portland, Ore. The Oleson Woods Apartments are 32 newly constructed one-, three-, and four-bedroom townhouse and flat style units housed in six residential buildings in the Metzger-Progress area, just north of Tigard, Ore. |

Royal Building Springfield, Ore. A new, five-story, mixed-use building in Springfield, Ore., with 4,400 square feet of ground floor commercial space and 33 residential units on the remaining four floors. It is designed for low-income individuals, couples and small families. |

Village at the Headwaters Portland, Ore. Village at the Headwaters, a four-story building, consists of 35 one-bedroom apartments and 21 two-bedroom apartments. The buildings residents are seniors 55 and older, living alone or as a couple in Southwest Portland. Each apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom, deck, storage space, and front-loading washer and dryer. |

Powelton Heights Philadelphia Powelton Heights involves the new construction of 48 one- bedroom units in one four-story building in the West Powelton Village neighborhood of West Philadelphia. |
Virginia

Randolph Place Richmond, Va. A moderate rehabilitation of an existing, occupied senior housing complex located in an historic school building in Richmond, Va. which is featured on the National Register of Historic Places. |
Washington
|
|
Broadway Crossing Seattle Home to 44 affordable apartments in Seattle’s historic Capitol Hill neighborhood, Broadway Crossing was not part of the original plan for the corner of Broadway and East Pine Street. The initial proposal called for a single story drugstore, but area residents instead asked for a taller, denser project to provide housing for low-income residents. |

Denny Park Seattle Denny Park Apartments is the new construction of 50 units of affordable housing serving families in the South Lake Union area of Seattle. Rental units will include studios and one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. |

|
High Point Seattle High Point consists of 320 newly built homeownership units and 459 rental units in West Seattle. Three hundred and forty-four of the rental units are syndicated with low-income housing tax credits. These one- to five-bedroom units are contained in 127 buildings. |

Laurel Village Bellingham, Wash. This project involves the construction of 51 housing units on the site of an old railroad roundhouse and repair shop on a bluff overlooking Bellingham Bay. It will include 24 one-bedroom, 15 two-bedroom and 12 three-bedroom apartments in three buildings with underground parking. |

Reino del Cielo Royal City, Wash. A newly constructed community of affordable homes for farm worker families in Royal City, Wash. |
Wisconsin
|
|
Parmenter Circle Middleton, Wis. Parmenter Circle contributes to the revitalization effort underway in Middleton’s downtown area. Green Communties’ first development in Wisconsin, Parmenter Circle provides four efficiencies, three studio lofts, 16 one-bedroom, 23 two-bedroom and four three-bedroom apartments. |
