Terms of Use

Briefly stated

Our website and all of its components are intended to provide information to further the field of affordable housing.

We want this information to help create sustainable and affordable communities, but some of these resources belong to other organizations. If you want to share or reuse copy that belongs to someone else, you will need to contact that copyright owner to get permission. If the information belongs to Enterprise, we encourage you to share it freely, but please cite Enterprise as the source. "Freely" is the key term though. If you intend to earn a profit, then we need to talk. Contact us for details.

Our logo and all related marks, of course, may not be used or reproduced without our express permission. Contact us for permission.

If you're posting comments or information, please make sure they are respectful, appropriate and accurate. If we deem they are otherwise, we will remove the content. Finally, if we link to a web page or website, it is for information only and not an endorsement.

The full legal version

Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. ("Enterprise") is a national organization that provides expertise for affordable housing and sustainable communities.  Our subsidiaries offer a variety of services related to the affordable housing and community development industries, including equity and debt financing and development services.  Throughout the Terms of Use, Enterprise, its subsidiaries, affiliates and supporting organizations may be referred to as “we”, “us”, and “our”.

Use of Enterprise Websites
You (a " Visitor") agree that your use of this website (the "Site") and sub domains will be governed by the following Conditions of Use Agreement (the "Agreement"). The purpose of this Site is to provide information on the work of the Enterprise and the community development field. Throughout this Site, the business and products of Enterprise and its charitable and non-charitable organizations are presented. We distinguish their content in several ways. Visually, the pages with a light green banner contain content from our charitable organizations and those with an orange banner contain content from our non-charitable organizations. Pages that commingle products and services are copyrighted by both organizations. Pages that represent the organization as a whole (such as much of the About section) will be copyrighted to Enterprise and will use the light green banner. Finally, throughout the Site's text we often reference which organization provides a given service.

This Site in no way should be construed as rendering any legal, accounting or any other project specific advice.

Enterprise Information Resources and Tools are copyrighted by Enterprise or a Third Party Content provider. You are allowed to reprint documents so long as the reprints are not used commercially and as long as they include copyright information and list Enterprise as their source. All documents copyrighted by Enterprise may be used or modified by an individual or a nonprofit organization for non-commercial use, as long as the adapted work clearly states it is from a work copyrighted by Enterprise. Documents copyrighted by Third Party Content providers may not be modified or adapted unless the Third Party Content provider has given specific permission along with the copyright information on the document itself or unless the Visitor obtains specific permission from the third party copyright holder. For commercial use of any document, contact Enterprise at mail@enterprisecommunity.org.
