CityWalk @ Akard
In partnership with Enterprise Community Loan Fund and a host of other partners, Central Dallas Community Development acquired and rehabbed a fifteen story office tower located in the heart of Downtown Dallas. The first of its kind in Dallas, this project was modeled after projects in New York City and Houston.-
Converted into 209 apartment units – 200 units are designated affordable, workforce housing; of those, 50 are for formerly homeless individuals. The remaining 9 units are rented at market rate.
- The ground floor is leased to retail vendors and two floors are reserved for office space; primarily for non-profit organizations. Enterprise’s Dallas office is housed in this building.
Roseland Townhomes
Enterprise helped revitalize one of the city's oldest public housing developments. The outdated homes, built in 1942 were replaced with contemporary housing for low- to moderate-income families.-
Includes 611 single-family homes with modern, updated appliances.
- Features services such as a child care facility, home study center, GED classes, homemaking activities and green space for recreational activities.
Dallas Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP)
Since 1991, as administrators of the Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP) for the City of Dallas, Enterprise has provided down-payment assistance and homeownership opportunities to low- and moderate -income families in Dallas. Enterprise has built strong partnerships and continues to work in collaboration with organizations to build strong, sustainable neighborhoods with compromising affordability.-
The Mortgage Assistance Program has been our platform for launching a number of programs in Dallas
- Through MAP we’ve assisted more than 7,300 families by providing over $73 million in public funds and leveraging more than $517 million in private mortgage financing
Green Work in Dallas
Enterprise in Dallas is doing its part in supporting Enterprise’s National Call to Action to green the affordable housing industry by 2020. -
Enterprise in Dallas sponsors and participates in green workshops, festivals and nonprofit groups dedicated to greening housing across the city.
