Green Grant Program

Enterprise's Green Grant program provides energy-efficiency upgrades free of charge to low-income homeowners who qualify. The program is for unicorporated areas of the 1st Supervisorial District of Los Angeles County brought to you by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. 

Program Objectives

To help low-income homeowners make their homes green and energy-efficient at no cost. Homeowners of all financial means are concerned with the environment, but some may not have the economic means to make expensive changes. Through this grant program, you may be eligible for the free installation of the following improvements, if your household meets specific economic criteria set forth by the Federal government and your house is suitable for these upgrades:
  • Free solar photovoltaic panels (depending on the condition of the roof)
  • Free attic and/or crawl space insulation
  • Free tankless water heater and gas valve shut off 
You may qualify for these upgrades if you:
  • Live in an unincorporated area of the 1st Supervisorial District
  • Own and live in your own single-family home
  • Have an household annual income below 80% of the average median income as listed below:

East Los Angeles Green Grant Program
